Our 2001 Vacation, the vacation of a lifetime (page 2)
After three days in Singapore, we were on our way to Bali on July 12. We flew Singapore Air, the best airline in the world. Here again they spoiled us rotten. It was only a 2 1/2 hour flight. However, it bridged a cultural divide from the high tech shopping city of Asia to one of the last areas with most of their original culture intact.
Bali
The first week in Bali we stayed at Club Med. We rested, sat on the beach and by the pool, and enjoyed the excellent Club Med food and wine. The boys really liked the Kids Club and spend a lot of their time there.
